The One Piece franchise has officially announced that the ‘One Piece Film Red’ anime will formally end it’s run in theaters on January 29th, 2023 after topping the box office in Japan for 2022 in tickets sold, according to their official YouTube channel.
The film, which first arrived in theaters back on August 6th, 2022 in Japan, has earned around $141.6 million as of Christmas Day (December 25th, 2022) and has sold approximately 13 million tickets.
The popular film is currently the #6 all-time highest-earning anime film in Japan and the #9 all-time highest-earning film in Japan.
