Black Rock Shooter: Dawn Fall Episode 6 is what we will be talking about. In April 2022, an anime that was not adapted from a manga or a light novel was released. This anime is called Black Rock Shooter: Dawn Fall. Although this anime has become very popular because of this anime, it has been adapted in previous media including a game.
Black Rock Shooter was created from the illustrations of Huke, short for Ryohei Fuke. These illustrations were so famous that they were the inspiration for a song called “Black Rock Shooter” by Supercell featuring Hatsune Miku. In 2010, these illustrations also inspired an original 50-minute video animation produced by Ordet Studio. A year later, a game and a manga were added to the franchise.
An anime was created in 2012, and the franchise also released a second game. Black Rock Shooter: Dawn Fall is thus a sequel to the first anime and is largely based on the game. So far, the series has released 5 episodes and the 6th episode will be released very soon!

As mentioned above, the entire franchise focuses on a female character, who is dressed all in black with one blazing black eye. This character radiates a mysterious aura that captivates those around her. Not only this, but she is a skilled fighter, often wielding a powerful cannon-like pistol. Although this mysterious girl named Black Rock Shooter is the central character of the franchise, every form of media introduces us to new characters and different stories. Black Rock Shooter: Dawn Fall’s plot is similar to the game, which is set in the year 2062.
Empress, as the name is called Black Rock Shooter, is awakened in this futuristic dystopian world taken over by machines. These machines are controlled by an artificial intelligence called Artemis. After Artemis went against the humans, she deployed these machines to reshape humanity and then imprison them. Empress, along with her friends Dead Master and Strength, must defend humanity by fighting off Artemis and her robots.
Black Rock Shooter: Dawn Fall Episode 5 Recap
Episode 5, called “Drink Because You’re Happy”, mainly focuses on the character Power. The episode opens with Strength thinking about her childhood friendship with Empress, which turns into a traumatic memory. This makes her even more drunk, until she finally pukes. Suddenly, we are introduced to Norito, who yells at Strength for help while Miya is kidnapped.
Just when she was ready to refuse, Strength and Norita are attacked by EI’s soldiers. This makes them both escape. With her weapons destroyed, Strength has no choice but to get involved in the situation. Meanwhile, Empress and Dead Master discover that Miya will be used as a sacrifice after entering the EI base. This creates the urgency to save Miya.
Without her weapons, Strength becomes cranky and considers herself useless until Norita assures her otherwise. But when the time comes, Norita will surrender Strength to the EI soldiers. This exchange would no doubt set Miya free, at least Norita thought. But this was part of his escape plan as he tried to save her, allowing her to craft a partial weapon.
At this point, however, Strength was angry with people, but decided to save Norita anyway. This is when things reach their climax as Empress and Dead Master enter the scene and help Strength recreate her weapons. The last part of the episode sees Empress and Power riding off on a motorcycle to Smiley’s base, where Miya is being held, in the hopes she’s all right. Unfortunately, the episode ends with Smiley sexually assaulting Miya.

The next episode of Black Rock Shooter: Dawn Fall Episode 6 is out on the May 8, 2022† The title of this episode is ‘Collapse’ and the story continues on the journey Empress and her group undertake to rescue Miya.
