A brand new trailer has dropped for the next Madoka Magica movie called ‘Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie Walpurgisnacht Rising’, which excited but also confused fans with a trailer last year that was just a bunch of shots with no context or reasoning, despite the film looking good overall.
Well, fast forward to today and another trailer has arrived and it’s not much different than the first, but it also shows some new characters that will be a part of the new film, but there is still no clarity as to what is going on and who these new characters are.
According to the official summary: “The beginning of a new chapter from Akiyuki Shimbou x Gen Urobuchi (Nitroplus) x aokiume x SHAFT. Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie Walpurgisnacht Rising coming soon.”
