Netflix, Crunchyroll Streaming ‘Suzume’

Netflix has officially added Makoto Shinkai’s film ‘Suzume’ (Suzume no Tojimari) to it’s streaming platform which will provide access to the film for viewers located in 169 countries including the United States and Japan.

Additionally, Crunchroll is also streaming the movie that opened in Japan at #1 in November 2022, ending it’s run in theaters in May 2023 closing with a total box office in Japan of 14.79 billion yen (about US$105.3 million).

The film opened in North America back in April 2023, earning $5,001,705 in it’s opening weekend and has earned a total of $10 million in the United States.

According to the official synopsis: “After she unknowingly opens a door of chaos, 17-year-old Suzume joins forces with a young man to help prevent more calamity from befalling Japan.”
